• For serious compass users or people who intend to perform accurate naviga-
tion, the compass must be adjusted to include the magnetic declination. This
watch includes a compensation setting for Magnetic Declination. See the
«Calibrating the Compass» section, page 52-55.

• Most topographic maps show a magnetic north pole and/or the magnetic
declination information. See the «Magnetic Declination at Major Cities»
section, page 52-55.
