Extra Clothes/Layers:
Avoid deadly hypothermia. Water conducts heat faster than air, so go
prepared with weather proof clothing especially if the water is cold. Use a
"dry bag" to store extra clothing in case you need a dry change of clothes.
Wear a wetsuit or drysuit when conditions warrant it.
First Aid Kit:
It is recommended to carry a first aid kit that contains items that might be

be found at www.floatplancentral.org.
