Troubleshooting

No function:
- Is the device switched on?
- Is the battery inserted correctly (polarity)?
- Is the battery empty?
- Is the device outside the range?
- Requires approx. 20 sec for first reaction
- Is the lens dirty?
Malfunction:
- Change the sensing range (e.g. by partially covering the
lens)
- Protect the sensor against direct sunlight
- Detection of pets?
- Strong fields e.g. microwave, etc.
No radio transmission:
- Metal parts may reduce the range
- Outside radio range
- Place the transmitter and receiver in free areas
rather than in room corners wherever possible.
- Other radio devices, particularly within a < 1m range,
considerably reduce the range of the device.
- Even a minor re-location of the product
can considerably improve the range of the device

Care

• Place in a dry place protect
against direct sunlight
• Always disconnect mains-powered devices before cleaning
(pull out plug).
• Always remove the batteries if the device is not to be used
for longer periods.
• Clean the device with a damp cloth do not use cleaning
agents.
