ASSEMBLY
Note: The crate itself is used in the assembly process for alignment. DO NOT DISMANTLE OR DISCARD. Make
sure the sides of the crate have not been damaged.
STEP 1:
Set the crate on level ground with plenty of clear space around the crate for assembly. Remove the top of the crate and
set aside. Remove all the items from the crate. Locate hardware bag 580955 and 580953 in the hardware box.
STEP 2:
Remove wheels from their shipping box. Remove blue plastic protective caps and position the valve stems outward.
Mount the wheels (1) on the axles with the valve stems positioned outward. Secure using the washers (2) and slotted
nuts (3). Tighten slotted nut firmly on the axle spindle. The wheel should be stiff to turn by hand, then back the slotted
nut off 1/3 to 1/2 turn. Align slotted nut with hole in axle spindle and insert then bend cotter pin. Install the dust cap.

STEP 3:
Place the axle assembly back into the crate with the wheels nested in between the two center-most wood slats. Place the
short engine support section of wood under the engine mount to hold the axle assembly in its proper position. Make sure
that the sides of the crate have not been damaged.
