To avoid injuries or property damage, e.g. due to electric shock, fire, ignition, explosion,
leaking or bursting:
Use only the batteries and charging units provided in the delivery for the headlight
•
system purchased.
•
Charge and use batteries only in ambient temperatures from 0°C to +30°C (+32°F to
+86°F).
Use the batteries only at a relative humidity of 45–85%.
•
Store batteries only at ambient temperatures from 0°C to +25°C (+32°F to +77°F).
•
Do not open the batteries, throw them into fire, insert them inverted, use them together
•
with used batteries or batteries of another type, short-circuit them, disassemble them,
heat them to over 100°C (122°F) or dispose them into waste incineration plants.
Do not touch damaged/leaking batteries. Immediately and properly dispose of the
•
batteries, observing the handling and safety measures for LiPo batteries.
4.3
Charging Unit
Use the charging unit only in dry environments in a closed area. Protect from rain, snow,
•
inflammable materials, excessive heat and/or moisture.
Do not connect the charging unit to an extension cable.
•
Do not excessively bend the mains cable or place any heavy objects on it; do not pull, drag
•
or strain the cable.
Do not use the charging unit if the cable has been severed or the batteries and/or the
•
4-chamber charging unit have been dropped or damaged.
Do not used damaged charging units; do not disassemble the charging unit or modify any
•
parts of the charging unit.
Do not use unapproved power supply units, and do not charge damaged batteries.
•

Do not bring metallic objects into contact with the metal parts of the DC connectors on the
charging unit or the battery contacts.
