To avoid any impact on the environment or human health due to dangerous
substances present in electrical and electronic devices, the end users of such
devices are expected to understand the meaning of the symbol consisting of a
crossed-out waste container. Do not dispose of electrical and electronic equipment
along with unsorted household waste, instead dispose of it separately and properly.
The packaging that protects the device against transport damage is made of
non-polluting materials that can be disposed of via local recycle bins.
Used batteries should not be disposed of with household waste. They must be
deposited at a special container for used batteries. This is an obligation intended to
ensure the ecological disposal of batteries. Dispose of them only when empty.
The parts of the device that come into contact with food are suitable for food products.

This symbol highlights dangerous situations that can lead to light injuries, or
damage, malfunction, and/or destruction of the device.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Put the scale on a hard and flat surface (preferably on a clean, flat table) and make sure it
is steady before use.
• Never place more than 5 kg/11 lb on the scale.
• The maximum capacity of the scale is 5000 g, which includes the weight before tare is
used. When the capacity is exceeded, "EEEE" shown on the screen indicates overload.
• The scale is a high-precision measuring device. Do not use force or try to disassemble it,
and please handle with care to avoid dropping or breaking during transport.
• The scale is only for family use and not suitable for professional use.
