• Do not use the product while charging the battery.
• Do not use the product if present any damage.
• Clean the otoscope from patient to patient.
• Do not use the product in environments with high interferences or electromagnetism.
• Check the product box before use, verify that it contains all necessary components.
• The use of accessories other than those indicated by the manufacturer may result in increased emissions or
decreased immunity of the product.
• Do not use the product if it does not work properly.
• There are not materials or substance that may pose an unacceptable risk to the user or patient.
• In case of fault: Contact technical service.
• Do not immerse the product in any liquid or subject it to any sterilization process.
• Strictly follow the cleaning instructions to avoid contagion and/or infection.

3. Cleaning and disinfection

Use only a clean, dry cloth intended specifically for optical use to clean the mirror or lenses. Do not use alcohol or other chemical
solutions. Clean the lens with cotton or lens paper soaked in alcohol.
The head housing can be cleaned and disinfected with a low or intermediate level sanitary cleaner, disinfectant wipes that incorporate
1:10 sodium hypochlorite solution (bleach) or alcohol.
Wash the accessory caps with plenty of water and disinfect with ethyl alcohol after each use.
The frontal lens part of this device is water-resistant and it can be cleaned by wipe disinfection. The focusing knob and the lighting touch
button are not waterproof. It is strictly forbidden to immerse the device for disinfection.
