• Never use cleaning agents/disinfectants other than the recommended.
• Please shut off the power before clean the pulse oximeter. Never permit high-pressure and high-temperature disinfection of the pulse oximeter.
NOTICE
• Do not place the SpO2 sensor in the extremities with an arterial catheter or a venous syringe.
• The cable must be connected carefully and prevent the patient from coiling or suffocating.
• Cover the sensor with opaque material in the presence of strong light, otherwise, the measurement will be inaccurate.
• Try to keep the patient still and avoid excessive movement of the measurement point.
• Do not use the pulse oximeter to measure patients whose pulse rate is lower than 30bpm, as this may cause incorrect results.
• Make sure there is no contamination or scarring in the area where the SpO2 sensor is placed. Otherwise, the results may be incorrect because the
signal received by the sensor is affected.
• Disinfection of the pulse oximeter between patients is recommended to avoid cross-contamination.
• Change the position of the sensor after prolonged use or if the patient needs it. After changing the sensor, check the integrity of the skin, the
circulatory status, and the correct alignment. It is recommended to make the change every 2 hours.
• Do not perform SpO2 monitoring and NIBP measurements on the same position simultaneously. Obstruction of blood flow during NIBP
measurements may adversely affect the reading of the SpO2 value.
• The SpO2 sensor is not allowed to contact the patient's skin if it is above 41°C.
• Shock, anemia, hypothermia, and the application of vasoconstriction drugs may decrease arterial blood flow to an unmeasurable level.
• Pigment or deep color may cause inaccurate measurements.
