Q: What if the batteries die when my toolbox is locked.
Am I locked out of my box?
A: Not at all. Your toolbox can still be locked and unlocked with the
mechanical key independent of the Smart Lock. NOTE: It is OKAY to
use either the app or the key to unlock and lock the toolbox. The
lock is designed to allow both modes of locking to work together or
independently without issue.
Q: When I install new batteries, do I need to re-connect my phone?
A: No, the lock will automatically re-connect to your phone. Note, the
Smart Lock technology will run a one-time test cycle when you
install the new batteries.
Q: Can multiple phones be connected to the same Smart Lock?
A: While multiple phones can be used, only one phone can be
connected at a time. To connect a different phone, the current
phone must first be disconnected.
Q: Will I be able to lock/unlock my toolbox from home?
A: The Smart Lock operates via Bluetooth®, and needs to be within
range to operate
