Rice Cooking Tips:
•
For white rice, we recommend that you start with a rice to water ratio of 1:1.
For other types of rice such as brown, wild and parboiled, follow the package
instructions. If you would like your rice to be dryer or softer, adjust the water to
rice ratio accordingly. Increase the amount of water for stickier rice; reduce the
amount of water for firmer rice.
•
The volume of rice in larger utensils will cause the rice at the bottom to soak
longer before cooking and the total weight of the rice can cause the rice at the
bottom to be slightly soggy.
•
The rice may stick but will not burn. To make cleanup easier, wipe a small amount
of oil on the cooking surface of the utensil before cooking.
