IMPORTANT REMARKS
For technical information or any installation problem, you can call our customer
service during office hours TEL. (+39) 01 72 81 24 11
V2 ELETTRONICA has the right to modify the product without previous notice;
it also declines any responsibility to damage or injury to people or things cau-
sed by improper use or wrong installation.
Please read this instruction manual very carefully before installing and
programming your devoce.
• This instruction manual is only for qualified technicians, who specialize in
installations.
• Every programming and/or every maintenance service should be done only by
qualified technicians.
• The installer must provide for a device (es. magnetotermical switch) ensuring
the omnipolar sectioning of the equipment from the power supply.
The standards require a separation of the contacts of at least 3 mm in each
pole (EN 60335-1).
• The plastic case has an IP55 insulation; to connect flexible or rigid pipes, use
pipefittings having the same insulation level.
RXP2S220 / RXP2S120 / RXS2KB220
It deals with a 230V /120V two channels receiver that can control loads up to
1500W.
• Operation by means of Royal (model RXS2KB220) or Personal Pass (model
RXP2S220 - RXP2S120) remote controls.
• The RXP2S220 - RXP2S120 version, which is compatible with the Personal
Pass system, enables you to store up to 83 different codes and cancel all the
stored ones as well.
• IP55 plastic box.
PROGRAMMING
The self learning programming system enables the code memorization and the
setting of the following functioning modes:
MONOSTABLE:
it activates the corresponding relay through the time of TX
transmission. When the transmission stops, the relay goes
automatically off.
BISTABLE:
it activates the corresponding relay on the first TX transmission.
The relay goes off on the second transmission.
TIMER:
the tx transmission activates the corresponding relay which
goes off after the set time (max 7,5 minutes).
PROGRAMMING OF THE MONOSTABLE FUNCTION
To start programming, please proceed as follows:
• Press and release the SW1 rx button for a number of times as shown in the
following table, in order to select the channel you wish to program with
monostable function.
SELECTED CHANNEL
CHANNEL 1 MONOSTABLE
CHANNEL 2 MONOSTABILE
• Press and keep pressed the tx button: if the rx led goes off, it means the
transmitted code has been correctly memorized.
IMPORTANT: to memorize the code in the correct way it is necessary to keep a
minimum distance of 1,5 metres between the transmitter and the receiver's
antenna.
PROGRAMMING OF THE TIMER FUNCTION
To memorize the TIMER function on the first channel, proceed as follows:
1 Press and keep pressed the SW1 button of the receiver : the led L1 (relating
to the first channel) lights up for a few seconds.
2 When the led goes off, release the SW1 button. Led L1 starts flashing slowly
(1 flash per second). The number of flashing corresponds to the time which
can be set as shown in the table.

3 Count the number of led L1 flashings corresponding to the time you wish to set.
4 Press the rx button SW1 during the wished flashing: the sequence of
flashings stops and led L1 remains on.
5 Press and keep pressed the tx button (it is necessary to proceed within 5
seconds): if the rx led L1 goes off , it means the transmitted code has been
correctly memorized.
To programme channel no. 2, repeat the above mentioned steps no. 2, 3, 4 and
5, taking into consideration led L2.
PROGRAMMING OF THE BISTABLE FUNCTION
To memorize the bistable function on the first channel, proceed as follows:
1 Press and keep pressed the rx SW1 button : led L1 (relating to the first
channel) lights up for a few seconds.
2 When led L1 goes off, release SW1 button. Led L1 starts flashing at low
speed ( 1 flash per second).
3 When the 30 flashings of the timer function are over, led L1 remains on.
4 Press and keep pressed the tx button: if led L1 goes off it means the
transmitted code has been memorized in the correct way.
To programme channel no. 2, repeat the above mentioned steps no. 2, 3, and 4,
taking into consideration led L2.
CODE REPLACEMENT (RXS2KB220 only)
The memorized transmitter code can be replaced by a new code by following the
same procedure for the memorization. In this way the new code will be memori-
zed and the previous one cancelled.
ROLLING CODE MODE (RXP2S220 - RXP2S120 only)
It is possible to activate or disable the ROLLING CODE mode. Its activation
makes any attempt of code duplication impossible.
To activate the "rolling code" function it is necessary to act on the jumper J1 on
the printed circuit:
J1 open
= "rolling code" mode activated
J1 closed = "rolling code" mode not activated
ATTENTION: only when the "rolling code" mode is activated is the Personal Pass
code not reproducible by someone else.
TOTAL CLEARING (RXP2S220 - RXP2S120 only)
It is necessary to follow these directions:
• Disconnect the power supply.
• Disable the ROLLING CODE mode by inserting the J1 jumper.
• Press the receiver's SW1 button; at the same time supply power.
• The receiver's LED flashes: release SW1
• The 83 memory zones are now empty and ready for a new programming.
INPUT OF A CODE ALREADY IN MEMORY
(RXP2S220 - RXP2S120 only)
Tring to insert a code already memorized, the old code will be overwritten by the
L2
new one.
Example: if a code was memorized in monostable mode and you want to memori-
zed it in bistable mode you just have to repeate the appropriate procedure.
