MTR500
ELECTRONIC TOGGLE RELAY TIMING
Operation: A short press will switch the light on and off.
The MTR500 relay can also be configured with a timer to force shutdown if the user forgets to do so.
Timing: The timing is deactivated by default.
It can be configured from 2 seconds to 4 hours by means of successive rapid pressures (see Table of
configurations).
Press briefly 25 times to set the duration in seconds (from 2 seconds to 4 minutes): (reply: 5 flashes).
Press briefly 26 times to return to duration in minutes (from 2 minutes to 4 hours) (reply: 6 flashes).
Warning: The module, if timed, indicates the approaching of the shutdown by a brief blinking flashing followed
by a warning time, during which it stays on. The warning period (1 minute if timing is set in minutes, 15 seconds
if timing is set in seconds) is added to the previously set lighting time of the module. A short press of the button
during the warning period will restart timer. Press briefly 24 times to disable (or reset) the warning function
(reply: 4 flashes). The warning function is disabled by default.
Soft start and soft stop: this function allows progressive switching on and off to increase the life of

flashes). The function is deactivated by default.
Extended time 1 hour: Press one of the connected buttons for longer than 3 seconds to switch on the light for

the module starts working normally again. Simply press a button to switch off the unit before the hour has
elapsed. Press briefly 29 times to disable (or re-enable) the "extended time" function (reply: 9 flashes). The
function is activated by default.

the warning time as well. When programmed in seconds, the light is dimmed by 20% every 3 seconds. When
programmed in minutes, it is decreased by 20% every 12 seconds.
