The long-range laser beams also project very visible laser
lines on walls. Level the instrument with its levelling feet (5,6)
according to the spirit-level indicators (2). The spirit-levels
are back-lighted to guarantee good visibility even in reduced
ambient light.

Regularly check the calibration before use, after
transport and after extended periods of storage.

Checking the vertical line
Fix a plumb bob with a line at least 2.5 m in length on the
wall, making sure that the bob can swing freely. Align the
spirit levels, turn on the unit, adjust the lines to the plumb
and the spirit-levels (2) with the levelling feet (5,6). The
precision is within tolerance if the deviation between the
laser line and plumb line is not greater than 0.5 mm / 1 m.
