Attaching the fixture plate to the
electrical box
□ Align one of the sets of keyholes in the fixture plate (A)
with the mounting screws (BB), allowing the heads of
the screws (BB) to come through the large ends of the
keyholes.
□ Rotate the fixture plate (A) until the heads of the
mounting screws (BB) slide into the narrow ends of the
keyholes.
□ Tighten the mounting screws (BB) to secure the fixture
plate (A) to the electrical box.

Attaching the diffuser shade
to the fixture plate
□ Position the diffuser shade (B) onto the fixture
plate (A).
□ Close the two latches on the fixture plate (A)
to hold the diffuser shade (B) in place.
□ Restore power at the electrical panel.
□ Turn on the light switch to activate the fixture.

Attaching the string to the pull chain
(Model # 53603141 only)
If a longer pull chain is required, a string (CC) may be attached to
extend the pull chain to the desired length.
□ Tie a small knot in the end of the 36 in. string (CC).
□ Insert knot on the string (CC) into the end link of the pull
chain.
□ Adjust string (CC) to desired length.
