SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Read through all the instructions and keep the manual in a safe place for
future reference.
• Only plug the unit into an outlet that corresponds to the voltage of the
unit.
• Check that the device is working properly before using it. If not, do not use
it and contact your service representative.
• Place the appliance on a level surface.
• Do not move the appliance while it is running or hot.
• The surface becomes very hot during operation. Do not touch it to avoid
burning yourself.
• Do not use the unit outdoors.
• The appliance is not intended for commercial use, but only for domestic
and similar environments.
• Do not place the appliance near heat sources or on hot surfaces.
• Do not move the appliance by pulling the plug. Make sure that the power
cord does not hang over the work surface to prevent it from getting caught
and accidentally pulling the product down. Do not twist or pinch the cable
around the unit.
• Disconnect the plug when not in use.
• Do not handle the plug with wet hands.
• Make sure the plug is unplugged before assembling, cleaning, or servicing.
• Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
an authorized service center or a similarly qualified person. Do not use the
unit with a broken power cord.
• The unit can be used by children over the age of 8, provided they have
been thoroughly familiarized with its functions and safety precautions by
a supervisor. Cleaning and care of children over 8 years of age may only be
carried out under supervision.
• Ensure that children do not play with the device.
• Keep children under the age of 8 away from the unit while it is hot and in
use and do not pull the power cord.
• Only use accessories expressly approved by the manufacturer.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Do not use the unit with a timer or a remote control power outlet.
• Do not use the unit for any purpose other than that specified.
• Do not cover the unit with a towel or clothing to prevent fire.
• Never leave the unit unattended during operation.
