Rena Ware knives are made of highly durable molybdenum/vanadium steel for
long lasting effortless cutting, carving, paring and chopping. With no rivets, the
ergonomic non-slip ABS handles are designed for safety, comfort, and shock
absorption. The attractive countertop wood block has slots to hold your knives
safely. Your set includes the following knives that have been selected to meet nearly
every basic kitchen cutlery need!
Chef's Knife (20.5cm/8" blade): Ideal for expert dicing, chopping, and slicing.
Vegetables, fruits, and meats can be quickly and easily cut into chunks, cubes,
strips, and bias cuts. Chopping greens for salads or stir-fry, mincing nuts and
candies, are easily accomplished by using an even, rocking motion.
Slicer (20.5cm/8" blade): The long, flexible Slicer is perfect for carving extra thin,
even slices of boneless meats, including roasts, hams, and poultry. Use it also to cut
thin slices of cake, pastry, and cheese.
Bread Knife (20.5cm/8" blade): Essential knife for cutting perfect slices of all
types of breads, bagels, and pastries, or even soft fruits and vegetables such as
tomatoes.
Santoku Knife (12.5cm/5" blade): Perfect for such everyday tasks as slicing cold
cuts, or cutting sandwiches, fruits, and vegetables. An indispensable tool for those
jobs for which the chef's knife is too big or the paring knife is too small.
Paring Knife (9 cm/3.5"): Designed to peel potatoes, fruits, and vegetables with
ease. Use the sharp point to remove blemishes from fruits and vegetables, eyes
from potatoes, veins from shrimp, or to remove the tops of strawberries. It can also
be used for creating decorative radish or cucumber rosettes, pickle fans, carrot
spirals, and other fancy garnishes.

Rena Ware Z Series Prep Knives
Made in the same style as the Cutlery Set, using the same molybdenum/vanadium
steel blades, and ABS handles, the Prep Knives consist of 4 knives perfect for
portioning cuts of meat, poultry, or fish from larger, less expensive cuts. Each set
includes the following knives.
Meat Cleaver (15.5cm/6" blade): Designed to cut through bones and joints, the
meat cleaver is the best choice for tough cutting jobs, including cutting frozen foods,
that would easily damage lesser blades.
Butcher Knife (18cm/7" blade): The shape of the butcher blade is ideal for
portioning steaks or chops from larger cuts of meat, removing the breast meat from
a turkey, or even filleting huge fish like swordfish or tuna. Also for cutting into hard
surfaced foods like melons or squash or pineapple.
Fillet Knife (18cm/7" blade): Although you can fillet a fish with a chef's knife, slicer,
or butcher knife, these larger and more rigid knives often leave behind the meat
closest to the bone. The fillet knife, with is long flexible blade, if specifically designed
for the task allowing you to easily separate the delicate flesh from the bone with little
loss of edible fish.
Boning Knife (14cm/5 ½" blade): Similar in appearance to the fillet knife, this knife
is made for working around bones, between muscle groups, and under gristle and
silver skin. This short narrow blade allows you to easily work within a cut of meat to
remove the less desirable portions.
Storage Packette - Includes a slot for each knife. Folds flat for storing in smaller
spaces.
