SPECIFICATIONS AND CONNECTIONS
Connection
- Unscrew the 4 front screws, and open the top cover.
- Supply the device with a 12 V 1 A power source using "+" and "-" terminals.
- Connect a remote device, MP-A254 speaker or MP-A1 slave unit, to terminals "E" and "1".
- Select the cable according to the following table.
Use
- Press COMMUNICATION key to turn on the device. Blue LED will be activated and audio coming from the remote device will be played by the local speaker.
- Press the TALK key to speak. Local speaker will become a mic and captured audio will be broadcasted by remote device.
Volume
- Adjust the volume using the potentiometer located on the rear panel. If, even at maximum volume, audio level is not enough, high gain mode can be activated by removing the
internal LOW GAIN jumper. Note that high gain mode slightly increases the level of background noise.
