Scope of supply
1x ignition cover protection holder
1x protector
2x countersunk screw M5x10
4x collar screw M6x40
4x spacer
Preassembly
- Position protector on holder (all included).
- Mount and tighten screws (included).
- Position spacers (included).
Assembly
- Drain the fuel from the fuel tank into a suitable container.
- Lay vehicle on its side.
NOTE
Cover the components to protect them against damage.
Remaining fuel may fl ow out of the fuel tank.
- Remove screws .
- Release the remaining screws of the ignition cover.
Place a suitable container under the engine. Engine oil may
escape!
- Position preassembled ignition cover protection.
- Mount screws (included) but do not tighten them yet.
- Tighten all screws on the ignition cover in a crisscross pattern to 12
Nm.
Final steps
- Place vehicle in upright position and lean on the side stand.
- Check engine oil level, add if necessary.
