CHECK AND MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS
- BOILER:
Every evening, it is necessary to empty the boiler. This way, a large part of the residues which forms on
the bottom of the boiler are done away with.
- FEEDING TANK:
For the models provided with a tank, we recommend keeping it clean from possible residues that may
accumulate on the bottom.
- WATER FILTER:
The filter (17) assembled on the pump protects it from foreign substances that may get in. It is
indispensable to check that it is not clogged at least once every 6 mounth, so that the pump suction is
not endangered.
- AUTOMATIC LEVEL CHECK:
Disassemble the probe (19) measuring the water level at least twice a year. To work properly, it should
be free from any residue that may endanger its sensitivity.
- SAFETY VALVE CHECK:
It is necessary to periodically check the safety valve (20) in order to guarantee its operation in case of
overpressure. Verify that no incrustation forms that may clog the total opening of the device.
- PRESSURE SWITCH:
This is the instrument connecting of disconnecting the group of resistances; at least once a year, check
that the copper pipe connecting it to the boiler is always free.
- ELECTRIC SYSTEM:
Periodically check that there is no wire showing signs of burning. If there is any replace it immediately.
MACHINE FAILURES
THE PUMP WORKS BUT NO WATER FLOWS INTO THE BOILER
A) Water lacks in the mains or in the tank:
- Add water into the tank or open the tap.
B) The feeding valve is defective:
- Clean it and reinstate it, or replace it with a new one.
C) The water introduction filter is clogged:
- Disassemble the rubber (17) and clean the filter carefully.
THE PUMP DOES NOT WORK
A) The level electronic gearcase is damaged;
- Replace the gearcase.
B) The pump motor is burned;
- Replacethe motor.
C) The starting condenser is burned:
- Replace the condenser.
D) The pump is locked:
- Beat the pump softly in order to unlock the impeller.
THE BOILER DOES NOT GO UNDER-PRESSURE EVEN IF THE WARING LIGHT GOES ON (6)
A) The resistances are burned
- Replace the group of the resistances with the gaskets.
B) The pressure switches are defective:
- Replace the pressure switches.
C) The connection pipe of the pressure switches is clogged:
- Disassemble the connecting union and clean it from incrustations.
STEAM FLOWS OUT OF THE SAFETY VALVE
A) The gauge (7) indicated a correct pressure and the safety valve continues to exhaust:
- Clean and reinstate the valve and, if the defect is still there, replace it.
B) The gauge (7) indicated a high pressure:
- Clean the pipes of the pressure switch and, if the defect is still there, replace it.
Per portare la macchina a lunga distanza caricarla su apposito mezzo mediante un muletto di portata
adeguata (il peso è indicato nelle caratteristiche tecniche).
Procedere ad una nuova installazione secondo quanto descritto al capitolo 4.1.
