DESCRIPTION
______________________________________________
The movement and twilight detector, depending on the intervention of the sensors
fitted to it, sends radio controls to actuators of the RF SYSTEM series, such as:
• 3A output modules,
• 16A output modules.

Accessible
by removing the plaque
The detector is provided with a green signal LED (A) and a button (B), used to send
a command, during association with the output modules.
The twilight threshold is set using a potentiometer (C).
The operation of the sensors can be independent or correlated, allowing 3 different
operating modes to be defined:
• movement sensor
• movement + twilight sensor
• twilight sensor.
The 3 modes can be enabled simultaneously: it is therefore possible to use the
detector as a movement sensor for managing some output modules and as a twilight
sensor for managing others.
The operating modes are selected using a DIP switch (D):

CONFIGUR TION
________________________________________________
The module is used to make associations with distinct actuators, to which
differentiated and independent commands can be sent, on the basis of the operating
mode selected.
To make the association, the operating mode it is intended to use to control the
actuators must be enabled, as shown in the table:

OFF
And then, after having set the required output module to learn configuration, press the
front button to permit the control message to be sent. Only one mode at a time may be
enabled in this phase. More than one mode can be enabled simultaneously at the end of
the configuration stage.
OPER TION
______________________________________________________
The detector's operating modes are determined on the basis of the selection made
using the DIP switch.
Movement sensor
In combination with a 3A or 16A output module in TIMED operation, for example for
automatic control of the lights in a corridor: the light is switched on (ON) when the
movement sensor cuts in.
Switching off the lights (OFF) takes place automatically when the time set on the
actuator elapses.
The association with a 3A or 16A output module in TIMED operation is the only one
possible in this mode.

Movement + twilight sensor
In combination with a 3A or 16A output module in TIMED operation, for example for
automatic control of the lights in a garage: the light is switched on (ON) when the
movement sensor cuts in if the ambient luminosity is less than the twilight sensor's
cut-in threshold.
Switching off the lights (OFF) takes place automatically when the time set on the
actuator elapses.
The association with a 3A or 16A output module in TIMED operation is the only one
possible in this mode.
Twilight sensor
In combination with a 3A or 16A output module in BISTABLE operation, for example
for automatic control of the lights in a garden: the light is switched on (ON) when the
twilight sensor cuts in if the ambient luminosity is less than the threshold set.
Switching off the lights (OFF) takes place when the ambient luminosity exceeds the
threshold.
In this mode, as well as what has been described, it is also possible to make the
association with a 3A or 16A output module in TIMED operation.
TWILIGHT SENSOR THRESHOLD DJUSTMENT
The twilight sensor's cut-in threshold is adjusted as follows:
• enable twilight sensor or movement + twilight sensor operating mode using the
DIP switch;
• press the transmit button for at least 3 seconds: the green LED lights up if the
luminosity level (lux) recorded at that time is less than the threshold set
• use the potentiometer to set the threshold to the required value in relation to the
luminosity level measured by the sensor, checking the status of the green LED.
The module exits from adjustment mode automatically after 30 seconds.
SIGN LS
____________________________________________________________
Transmission of a command
A single blink of the green LED shows that a radio command has been transmitted.
Batteries discharged
When any key is pressed, five blinks of the green LED show that the batteries are
becoming discharged. The condition is signalled:
• automatically when the detector cuts in if movement sensor or movement +
twilight sensor modes are enabled;
• when the front button is pressed in all operating modes.
Operation of the detector is guaranteed in any case. In this case, the batteries must
be replaced as soon as possible.
Twilight sensor cut-in threshold
When the detector is in twilight threshold adjustment mode, the green LED is on
when the luminosity level recorded is less than the threshold set and off if greater.
INST LL TION
WARNING
ON
• Before installation ensure that the associated output modules receive the
OFF
commands correctly.
• During the installation stage respect the assembly sequence shown on the
UP
product (
