Special case: SA with deactivated environmental monitoring
If in exceptional cases (e.g. in extremely constricted hallways) the surrounding monitoring
of the RWM had to be fully deactivated during installation, this can be recognised on a
"Jährliche Sichtprüfung" (Annual visual inspection) label on the user key.

In this case the annually stipulated test is carried out manually - as described in
Chapter "Functional Test" .

Maintenance work

You may neither mask the RWM nor cover it. Moreover, you may neither paint over
the SA nor subject it to soiling due to work which gives off large quantities of dust.
Remove the RWM before starting maintenance work:
Turn the RWM casing anti-clockwise manually.

Pull the casing off the mounting plate downwards.

Mark the back of the RWM with the room designation so that it is installed in the

correct place after the maintenance work.
After the maintenance work, you must install the RWM back in the same location in the
same room:
4 For this purpose, compare the serial number (8-digit device No. and 2-digit test mark)
on the sticker on the mounting plate and on the back of the RWM
(E.g.: 5216 0218 MB).
