(Important for your own security)
Before starting to run your new
submersible pump, please have the
following items checked by an
_ Ground connection
_ Zero conductor
_ Fault current breaker switch must
correspond to the safety regulations
of the power plants and they must
_ The electrical connections must
be protected from moisture.
_ If there is danger of flooding, the
electrical connections must be taken
to higher ground.
_ Circulation of aggressive fluids, as
well as the circulation of abrasive
materials must be avoided at all
_ The submersible motor-driven
pump must be protected from frost.
_ The pump must be protected from
_ Access on the part of children
should also be prevented with
appropriate measures.
Consistency
Your submersible pump is designed for the
circulation of water with a maximum temperature
of 35° C. This pump may not be used for other fluids,
especially motor fuels, cleaning fluids,
and other chemical products!
6 INSTALLATION
The submersible motor pump is installed as follows:
_ In a stationary position with fixed pipeline
or
_ in a stationary position with a flexible hose pipe.
You should never install the pump
by suspending it unsupported from
its delivery pipe or power cable. The
submersible motor pump must be
suspended from the specially
provided handle or be placed on the
bottom of the shaft. To guarantee
that the pump works properly,
the bottom of the shaft must be kept
free of sludge and dirt of all kinds.
If the level of water sinks too far,
any sludge in the shaft will dry out
quickly and stop the pump
from starting up. , Therefore it is
necessary to check the submersible
motor pump regularly (by
carrying out start-up tests). The
"switch on" point can be adjusted by
repositioning the sensor (5) in one
of the 4 available positions.

Please note!
Mains supply
Your new submersible pump is equipped with a
shock-proof plug according to regulations. The
pump is designed to be connected to a 230-240V
~50 Hz earthed socket. Make sure that the socket is
sufficiently secured (min. 6 Amp.) and is in excellent
condition. Introduce the plug into the socket and the
pump is ready to go.
Important Note!
If the mains cable or plug suffers any damage from
external action, repairs to the cable are prohibited.
7 SETTING TO WORK
After having read these instructions carefully, you
can set your pump to work, reconsidering
the following:
_ Check if the pump rests on the ground of the shaft.
_ Check of pressure cord has been attached
properly.
_ Check if electrical connection is 230-240 V ~ 50
Hz.
_ Check if socket is in good condition.
_ Make sure that water and humidity can never
come to the mains supply.
_ Avoid pump running dry.
7.1 Setting the ON/OFF operating point
The "switch on" point can be adjusted by
repositioning the sensor (5) in one of the 4 possible
positions.
The switching on and off of the water pump is
controlled by the combination of two signals: the
change of the motor speed (loaded / no load) and
the change of the water level (submerged /dry).
Operation:
1. When the pump runs at no load (dry), the
electronic switch will switch the pump off after
10 seconds. If the sensor is still under water, the
pump can only be restarted by pulling
the plug off and then putting it in again (reset).
2. When the pump is under water (loaded) and the
water level is above the two touch points
(submerged), the electronic switch will start the
pump. When the water level is below the minimum
pump level (dry), the electronic switch will stop the
pump.
1. When the pump motor is blocked (overloaded),
the electronic switch will stop the pump.
The pump can only be restarted by pulling the
mainsplug off and then putting it in again
(reset).
