7. Position the end and side boards (E and F) Fig. 6
inside and flush against the top of the end brackets
(B) Fig. 7. Mark the locations where you will drill 7/16"
diameter through-holes in the wooden base boards.
NOTE: Drill four holes through the four inner areas of
each bracket, two of which are shown at (P) Fig. 7. Drill
a total of sixteen holes to support the boards in the four
brackets.
8. With the end and side boards in place (B) Fig. 8,
place the pivot bracket (H) at the end of the base,
midway between the brackets (B) where the foot
pedal and caster assembly will be located.
NOTE: Position the pivot bracket (H) Fig. 8 directly
opposite the two wheels (Fig. 12). Mark the location of
the two places (G) Fig. 8 where you will drill the7/16"
diameter through-holes to mount the pivot bracket (H).
9. On the same end of the base where the pivot
bracket will be located, measure 3/4" from the end
and the side of the two side boards (F) Fig. 9 (the
end without wheels). Mark the location where you
will drill the two 7/16" holes that will accept the two
leveling legs, one of which is shown at (J).
10. Carefully drill the 7/16" diameter through-holes at all
twenty locations detailed in STEPS 7, 8, and 9.
NOTE: Use a drill press for accuracy.
11. Position the boards inside the corner brackets (B)

inside holes in each corner bracket (B) Fig. 10. Fasten
the boards to the brackets with sixteen 2" carriage
bolts (L) and hex nuts (M).
NOTE: Insert the carriage bolts (L) Fig. 10 from the inside
of the brackets (B) so that the squares of the carriage
bolts fit into the square holes in the bracket (B).
