Operating instructions
The DT-Mobil Easy is a mobile diesel refuelling
unit for the conveying of diesel fuel for own use
in own vehicles in accordance with ADR 1.1.3.1 c).
Please also note the operating instructions for
the Cematic 3000 electric pump.
1. Commissioning
Open ball valve of the delivery line (item d).
Switch electric pump on, open the delivery
nozzle and start the fuelling process.
Note: Ventilation and tank pressure relief are
performed automatically by the integrated
valve (item a).
2. Filling the tank
Unscrew cap (item b) with integrated ventilation
valve (item a) on the filling opening. The
container must be filled using a delivery nozzle
with an automatic shut-off. After filling, replace
the cap on the filling opening.
Cap (item e) for the optional installation of a
content indicator.
3. Making ready for transport
1.1 Securing the tank to the transport vehicle
Four brackets (item c) are
attached to the side of the tank
for securing the DT-Mobil Easy
to the transport vehicle. Suitable
tensioning belts must be used
for this.
The relevant regulations
for securing loads must be
observed.
1.2 Exemption according to ADR, sub-section
1.1.3.1 c), related to the nature of the
transportation operation
The provisions laid down in the ADR regulations
do not apply to the carriage undertaken by enter-
prises which is ancillary to their main activity,
4
such as deliveries to or returns from building or
civil engineering sites, or in relation to surveying,
repairs and maintenance, in quantities of not
more than 450 litres per packaging and within
the maximum quantity specified in ADR, sub-
section 1.1.3.6 (1,000 l for diesel fuel).
Nevertheless, measures must be taken to pre-
vent any leakage of the contents under normal
conditions of carriage, i.e. all openings of the
tank and the ball valve (item d) must be closed.
Important: This ADR exemption does not apply
if the sole purpose of the journey is the internal
or external supply of equipment with diesel fuel
and not for direct consumption in accordance
with RSEB 1-5.1. In this case, ADR-approved
transport containers are required.
4. Crane operation
The DT-Mobil Easy can be
loaded off and onto the transport
vehicle in crane operations by
folding up the 4 brackets
attached to the side of the tank
(item c) and attaching the 4 load
handling devices. Each load
handling device (chain) must be
of the same length. Minimum
length: 1 m. For the version with lid, this must be
closed and completely locked with the two locks.
Note:
Before each crane operation, the screw
fastening of the 4 brackets must be checked
for correct and tight connection. Do not
stand under the suspended DT-Mobil Easy
filling station during crane operations.
5. Inspection by Owner
An inspection of the inside and outside condition
of the tank should be carried out at least once
every twelve months.
These inspections should be documented as
follows: see page 5.
