Important
Read these directions for use carefully in order to obtain accurate
measuring results.
These scales are suitable for weights up to 150 kg.
This product is not a medical device. It is intended for home use. It
is not intended for professional use in hospitals or other medical
institutions.
If you are pregnant, we advise you to only measure your weight
and not to use the body fat indicator, as this will give a distorted
picture.
The body fat indicator is not suitable for children under the age of
7.
The scales may give wrong fat percentage readings with (semi-
)professional sportsmen/sportswomen.Their proportion of muscle
to fat tissue may deviate too much from that of average people.
In case of doubt, consult a doctor.

Remove the red protection strip from the batteries on the back
of the scales.
Preparing the appliance for use
Place the scales on a solid and level floor.
Use the scales on a smooth floor. If the scales are used on a deep-
pile carpet, this may cause a slight deviation in the values
measured.
Always weigh at the same time and under the same conditions.
For example, weigh before breakfast in the morning without any
clothes on.
Stand on the scales with both feet and do not move so as to
ensure an even weight distribution.
Do not lean on anything while you are standing on the scales, as
this will result in an incorrect reading.
