Operating Instructions
Description:
The electric gear pump is suitable for decanting and emptying oil. The bypass valve integrated in the
pump body limits the max. delivery pressure of the pump

For hydraulic and engine oils
of low to medium viscosity.
The use of hose reels or pumping over longer
distances is not catered for.
Waste oils must only be pumped if they do not contain any solid particles.
Any other use, or modification or alteration to the equipment is only permissible after
discussions with the manufacturer.

DKR 1" connection thread

DN 20 outlet hose 4 m or 8 m, DKR ¾"

Oil filler gun, R ¾" connection thread

Telescopic suction pipe 520 – 860 mm
R 1" connection thread

Elbow with 2" drum adapter, R 1" connection

400 mm extension pipe, R 1" connection

Putting into service and operation for EP 300 / EP 400

Screw the telescopic suction pipe (5) into the elbow (6).
Screw the telescopic suction pipe with elbow into the R 2" fitting on the tank.

Place the gear pump (1) onto the tank. If using the pump retainer for the 700 / 1000 litre tank, the
carrying handle on the pump can be removed.
Connect the suction hose (2) to the pump (1) and the elbow (6).

Fit the oil filler gun (4) and pressure hose (3) to the pressure side of the pump.
Plug the 220V mains plug into the socket

Before putting the unit into service, check all connections for firm seating and leaks.
The equipment is now ready for use.

If the equipment is not being used, stop the electric gear pump.

EP 400 / EP 400-DS
For hydraulic, engines and transmission oils
of low to high viscosity..
The use of hose reels or pumping over longer
distances is possible due to the high pressure
rating of 16 bar.
On the EP 400-DS, the pump motor will be
stopped by the pressure switch after shutting off
the oil filler gun.
