USING THE DEVICE WITHOUT THE APP
Pairing the PADDY ALERT with the PADDY SMART PAD.
Note: If there are smartphones nearby, you must disable the Bluetooth® of the smar-
tphone. Or if there are other PADDY ALERTS nearby, you have to move them away as
they could automatically connect or disturb the signal. You will be able to reactivate
Bluetooth® and bring the other key rings together again as soon as the operation
is completed.
On first use, press the button for 1 second to turn on the device: a beep will confirm the
device is ON. After 60 seconds of inactivity and no movement, PADDY ALERT will turn
off. At its first movement it will light up again.
To pair the PADDY ALERT with the PADDY SMART PAD press the PADDY logo on the pad
until a beep sound is heard. Keep the pressure on the pad and press the ALERT button
for 8/10 seconds. Releasing the button the device , with the LED flashing continuously,
will be in search mode for almost 30 seconds, during this lap of time further pads may
pair. When a beep sound is heard: the device is now connected to the Smart Pad. The
LED flashes every 8/10 seconds.
Repeat the above to associate other PADDY SMART PADS with the PADDY ALERT, up
to a maximum of 4.
It will set off an alarm only in case the user has left the mobile phone and an unattended
child in the vehicle.
