5. Vol –
Reduces the volume / changes to the previous option
6. Back
Returns to the previous screen / returns to the beginning of the cur-
rent song / searches through the song currently being played
7. Forward
Skips to the next song / searches through the song currently
being played / confi rms a selection and enters a sub-menu
8. Play/Pause
Begins the playback of a song / pauses the current playback
9. Smart Menu
Allows for the direct access to menus. Once this button is
pressed, commands will appear on the screen and each of these
commands will correspond to a different button on your remote
control.
10. Record
Allows you to record from the radio or a device connected to the
line-in jack to the hard drive.

REMOTE CONTROL

1. Power on/off
Powers the device on or off
2. Quick play
Plays the last 20 songs
3. Fill-it-up
Begins the copying of songs from the hard drive to an external de-
vice such as an MP3 player, SD/MMC card, or fl ash drive
4. Vol +
Increases the volume / changes to the next option
11. Copy to HDD
Copies from the hard drive to an SD/MMC card, fl ash drive, or MP3
player
12. Light
Powers the backlight on/off. This function is useful at night.
13. Equalizer (EQ)
Allows you to change the equalization mode, with 6 options: Normal,
classical, modern, pop, live, rock
14. Playback mode
Allows you to change the playback mode, with 3 options: Repeat 1,
Repeat all, Random
15. Music
Allows for access to the music menu / returns to the previous station
in radio mode
16. Home
Returns to the home menu
