CLEANING AND REPLACING THE FILTER

This vacuum cleaner is equipped with the following filters: a HEPA filter;
a protective grill and a post-motor filter.
The filters can wear out with time, which reduces the suction power of the
vacuum cleaner. It is, therefore, important to you identify and replace the
above filters.
Cleaning or replacing the HEPA filter
Always unplug the appliance before replacing this filter. Remove the dust cylinder to
remove it from the vacuum cleaner.
Open the bottom of the dust cylinder by turning in a clockwise direction,

holding the HEPA filter to separate the HEPA unit from the dust cylinder.

Hold the protective grill and turn in a clockwise direction to detach it.

If the HEPA filter is particularly dirty, rinse it thoroughly using a shower head,

and use a brush to remove the dirt from the HEPA filter.
Then leave to dry (for about 15 hours at room temperature). Do not reuse until

it is completely dry. If you do not succeed in removing all the dirt, replace the
HEPA filter.
Replace the HEPA filter and the protective grill in the dust cylinder.

Place the dust cylinder back in the vacuum cleaner. Press firmly on the dust

cylinder fittings until it locks into place. Check that the dust cylinder has been
securely fitted into place.
