HOW DO I SET-UP THE PUMP AND BUCKET?
The Slime 19 litre bucket is designed to be used with our reusable 19 litre pump (sold separately). Begin by attaching
hose (2) to handle (3). Next remove the circular cap on the top of the bucket. Attach the black threaded bung adap-
tor (8). Insert the pump. If necessary, wipe the pump with a wet rag to facilitate insertion. Position the base of the
pump just above the bottom of the bucket. DO NOT allow the pump base to rest on the bottom of the pump. Secure
the pump by tightening the metal depth lock (10) attached to the black threaded bung adaptor (8).
Congratulations, you just set up your bulk insertion system! Now, you and your business can benefit from pumped
up customer satisfaction and profits!
HOW DO I INSERT SLIME USING THE PUMP AND BUCKET SYSTEM?
Inserting Slime into a tube or tyre is quick and easy. Simply remove the valve core and allow the tyre to deflate. Ver-
ify the correct amount of sealant needed for the tyre, then adjust the volume collar (4) as needed. Once the volume
collar (4) has been adjusted, each measure of the pump will insert the set quantity of sealant into the tyre. Attach
the brass chuck (1) to the valve stem, and then slowly push the pump handle down to insert Slime. Readjust the
volume collar (4) as needed to insert the recommended amount of sealant. Once Slime has been inserted, remove
the brass chuck (1) from the valve stem and replace the valve core. Re-inflate the tyre to the recommended pressure.
PUMP CARE
Over time, you may experience a clog in the pumping mechanism. Slime sealant's exceptional ability to seal punc-
tures can often apply to small openings in the pump mechanism. For this reason our pump comes equipped with a
re-circulating feature. Simply attach the brass chuck (1) on the end of the pump hose to the recirculating spigot (9)
on the side of the black threaded bung adaptor (8). Press the pump down a few times to recirculate the sealant. For
best results, do this at the end of every week.

TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

If the Slime pump gets clogged up, it will most likely do so in one of the following places:
1. The Valve Stem
Verify that the valve itself is not clogged up. If the valve is clogged up, clear the area with thin steel wire or a
paper clip. If the clog is extensive, we recommend using a 1/8" (3mm) drill bit to remove excess fibres.
2. The Pump
Unscrew the plunger rod (6) and separate it from the pump cylinder (11). Rinse the Slime away with water and
then look for a visible clog at the bottom. If a clog is present, dismantle the set-up and clean it out. If no clog is
present, unscrew the filler hose (2) and separate it from the pump handle (3).
If you have any questions about or concerns with your Slime pump, please call us directly on (805) 489-0490 and
we will gladly provide assistance.
NOTICE: THIS PUMP MAY GET CLOGGED UP IF NOT PROPERLY CLEANED!
SLIME IS A FIBRE BASED LIQUID AND THE FIBRES AREN'T REALLY THAT SMART - THEY TEND TO CLOG UP THE
PUMP WHEN THEY SHOULDN'T. When the pump gets clogged up DO NOT FORCE IT. This will only result in
excess pressure. Instead, you should remove the pump, take it apart and clean it, following the above
instructions to reassemble.
