Assembly, Installation and Operating Instructions

NOTE: Check all parts for shipping damage. If damage is found, DO NOT use. Contact Carrier/Invacare for further instructions.
To ensure the safe and proper assembly of the cart, these instructions and warnings MUST be followed:
DO NOT use this product or any available optional equipment without first completely reading and understanding
these instructions and any additional instructional material such as owner's manuals, service manuals or instruction
sheets supplied with this product or optional equipment. If you are unable to understand the warnings, cautions or
instructions, contact a healthcare professional, dealer or technical personnel before attempting to use this equipment ‐
otherwise, injury or damage may occur.
After any adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure all attaching hardware is tightened securely ‐
otherwise injury or damage may result.
Invacare products are specifically designed and manufactured for use in conjunction with Invacare accessories.

Invacare products.
Cart Assembly
NOTE: The following tools are required to perform this procedure:

#3 Phillips Head Screwdriver
•
10mm Wrench
1.
Remove base assembly, handle assembly, and hardware packet from packaging.
NOTE: Hardware packet should contain two each button head screws, nuts, screw retainers, and thumb screws.
2.
Insert handle assembly posts into square brackets located on the base assembly. Refer to FIGURE 1
(Detail "A").
3.
Adjust handle and base assemblies until screw holes are directly aligned. Refer to FIGURE 1 (Detail
"B").

Thread nut onto screw and tighten securing the handle assembly to the base assembly (FIGURE 2). NOTE: Repeat STEP 4 thru STEP 5 on the opposite side of base assembly. Invacare no ha testado accesorios fabricados por otros fabricantes y no recomienda su uso con los productos Invacare. Montaje del carrito NOTA: Son necesarias las siguientes herramientas para realizar este proceso: • #3 Destornillador de estrella • Llave de 10mm Retire el montaje de la base, sujete el conjunto y el paquete de piezas del embalaje. NOTA: El paquete de piezas metálicas contiene dos tornillos de cabeza, tuercas, arandelas de retención y tornillos. Inserte los tubos del conjunto en las abrazaderas planas situadas en la base. Inserte una tuerca en el tornillo y apriétela asegurando el asa a la base (FIGURA 2). NOTA: Repita PASO 4 por PASO 5 en el lado contrario de la base.
