With NOCH Sound Station II you can add the pleasure of sound to your
model railway layout: original sounds in high quality! The Sound Station II
Complete system includes 17 realistic sounds and all accessories. It is
child's play to operate the Sound Station II: Plug and play!
Turn on the device by putting the slide switch to EIN (on).
Controlling the steam and diesel sound:
Important: If you don't hear any steam or diesel sound, you have to activate it first: Keep pushing the button Langsam
(slow) and turn the power switch on (EIN) at the same time. In the same way you can completely fade out the steam or
diesel sound if you keep pushing the button Langsam (slow) and turn the power switch on (EIN) at the same time.
You can use the Sound Station for steam and for diesel locomotives as well. Use the slide switch Diesel/Dampf to
choose diesel or steam mode. Operating the push button Schnell (speed up) or Langsam (speed down) you can control
the diesel motor speed or the steam pressure valve frequency.
Handheld Controller:
Push buttons: You can play the upper sounds by pushing the respective button.
Slide switches: You can control the sounds at the bottom by activating the respective slide switch (constant sounds).
Two Channel Technology:
The sounds are played on two channels. You may overlap a constant sound from the slide switches (e. g. steam locomo-
tive) and a push button sound (e. g. whistle).
Volume Control:
Turning the volume knob will allow you to control the volume of the slide switches.
The volume of the push buttons cannot be controlled by the volume knob.
Volume control of the push buttons marked in the table: Push the respective
button of which volume you want to change and turn the power switch on
(EIN) in the same time. Repeat this process whenever you attain the desired
volume. You may vary between 4 different volumes per push button.
Basic volume control of the diesel/steam sound: Keep pushing the button
Schnell (fast) and turn the power switch on (EIN) in the same time. You may
vary between 4 different basic volumes. In the same time you may control the
respective basic volume by turning the volume knob.
Safety and Guarantee Information:
- Do not open the transformer and the Sound Station. Opening any compo-
nent will terminate the guarantee.
- Keep the transformer and the Sound Station away from humidity and water.
These items are not designed for outdoor use.
- Keep the items away from extreme cold and warm temperatures. Do not place these items under direct sunlight.
- Do not drop or shake the device. and the transformer. The guarantee does not cover these items if dropped or shaken.
