PILOTING YOUR AIR PIX IN MANUAL MODE
ELEVATION: Slowly move
your thumb up or down
on the gold Joystick button
to make AIR PIX fly either
up or down.
Note: swiping too fast can
cause eratic flight.
DIRECTION: AIR PIX uses your phone's gyroscope for flight direction. Keeping
your thumb on the Joystick button tilt your phone in the direction you want your
AIR PIX to fly:
• Dip down for forward
Note: To stabilize a seemingly out of control flight take your thumb completely off
the Joystick. AIR PIX will go back to a steady hover.
TAKING PHOTOS OR VIDEO IN MANUAL MODE
Under the Joystick on the Camera screen there is a thin gold
circle. When AIR PIX is in camera mode there is a solid gray
button inside it. Simple press the gray button to take a picture.
To switch to video simply press the Movie Camera icon to the
right of the gold circle. To start taking video press the red button
inside the gold circle and to stop shooting press it again. To go
back to photo mode press the Camera icon.

Here are a few important tips to remember:
• AIR PIX is designed to fly a maximum of 60' (18m).
• For best photography and video results shoot in brightly lit spaces.
• Do not touch the moving propellers.
• To instantly turn your aerial camera off simply turn it upside down.
• Tip up for backward • Tilt left to go left
