GB Instructions for Use for the Alginate Mixing Device
Start of Operation:
Connect Algimix to 230 V with the included power cable.
Twist the included cup onto the black ring of the device (bayonet cap) while holding the ring.
Handling of Algimix:
• D ose the powder and the liquid according to the manufacturer's information. At first, fill the cup with alginate,
then add water. Mix briefly until alginate and water are coarsely mingled.
• S tart the mixing procedure by taking the spatula firmly into your hand (sinistrals into the left hand), with the
other hand, activate the rotation button LOW (slow rotation), then HIGH (quick rotation), keep this button
pressed. Move the spatula evenly from the upper material limit to the center of the cup (the spatula edge should
touch the inner surface). Press the flat side of the spatula into center direction while keeping contact to the cup
wall, so the material remains at the cup bottom.
• Repeat this procedure several times until the alginate is soft and homogeneous.
• R emove the alginate from the cup by putting the spatula on the cup bottom, press the button and draw the
spatula upwards by keeping contact with the cup wall. The alginate on the spatula is now ready for use.
• A lginate remains are removed by pressing one of the rotation heads and sweeping the spatula cautiously
alongside the inner surface of the cup.
Maintenance and Cleaning of Algimix:
The device is absolutely maintenance-free.
The cup should be cleaned with a moist cloth, so the cup remains soft and even inside.
Warranty Period:
The manufacturer guarantees that the contractual product is flawless and features all warranted and/or agreed
characteristics. The warranty period starts from the date of transfer of perils or with delivery of the product for a
twelve months' period. Excluded from warranty are faults and/or damages, which are e.g. due to operational wear,
normal wear, improper use, operating errors, careless product handling by the customer, connection to
inappropriate power sources, operation with wrong kind of current, force majeure like fire, lightning, damage due
to damp, etc. In case of justified defect claims, the manufacturer has the right of repair, replacement or reduction
of purchase price. The customer can only claim cancellation of the sales contract after two ineffective repairs by
the manufacturer.
