4.3 Running on battery power
1. Introduce the battery in the
battery compartment to charge it.
Make sure the battery placement is
correct.
2. Plug in the Vcc/Vcc adapter to the
power to the power input jack on the
camera and plug in the other end to the
car's cigarette lighter.
You can also use the USB cable to
connect the camera to a power souce,
like a computer or a USB charging
device.
When the light indicator on the power
button
turns off, it means the charge
is complete.
3. Once the battery is charged, simply disconnect the camera and press the power
button
to turn it on and off.
4.3.1 Video recording ( .AVI format)
4. To begin or stop recording, simply press the shutter / selec-
tion button
in video recording mode
5. Use the UP (zoom in) and DOWN (zoom out) buttons to
adjust the digital zoom.
Videos are recorded in clips whose duration ( 3, 5, 10, and 15 minutes) can be set in the Video time
setting option (see page 14 ).
- The camera has a recording space reutilization feature, which means that when the SD/MMC memory
card is full, it will begin to overwrite the oldest photos and recordings.
