REPLACING THE BLADE
AB2102D is compatible with EGO POWER+ 21" cordless mower LM2130/LM2130SP/
LM2150SP/LM2130-FC/LM2130SP-FC/LM2150SP-FC.
Removing The Blade
WARNING :
Always protect your hands by wearing heavy gloves or wrapping the cutting edges
with rags or other materials when performing any maintenance on the mower blade. Always remove the
battery pack when servicing or transporting the mower.
NOTICE: The following tools (not included) are required for replacing the blade:
◾
9/16'' (14mm) wrench;
◾
11/16" (17mm) wrench;
◾
Torque wrench with 9/16" (14mm) and 11/16" (17mm) sockets;
◾
Manual screwdriver or metal rod 5/16" (8 mm) or less.
◾
Manual screwdriver or metal rod 1/4" (6.35 mm) or less.
Tools that make life easier: Impact wrench with

9/16" and 11/16" sockets make the removing the
bolts/nuts much easier.
1. Stop the motor; remove the battery pack
from the mower.
2. Turn the mower on its side.
3. Wear protective gloves. Insert a manual
screwdriver or metal rod 5/16" (8 mm) or
less in the stabilizer hole. This is to stop the
blade from rotating while loosening the bolt/
nuts (Fig. 1).

4. Use a 11/16" (17mm) wrench to loosen and
remove the two 11/16""Blade Set" nuts.
SAVE THE TWO NUTS FOR LATER BLADE
REASSEMBLY (Fig.2).
5. Use a 9/16" (14mm) wrench to loosen and
remove the 9/16" shaft bolt and washer
(Fig.3).
NOTICE:
If the bolt rotates with the motor shaft
when loosening the bolt, place another metal rod
(e.g., a 3.5" long screw bit) with diameter less than
1/4 inch (6.35mm) into the aligned holes in the fan

to act as another stabilizer (Fig.4).

6. Remove the EGO High-Lift Bagging Lower
Blade and the upper blade from the motor
shaft in sequence (Fig. 5). Remove the two
"Blade Set" bolts from the upper blade.
SAVE THE TWO BOLTS FOR LATER BLADE
REASSEMBLY.
7. Save the fan on the motor shaft. Be sure
OPERATOR'S MANUAL that the fan blade is facing towards the deck
(Fig6).

Installing The Blade
NOTICE:
To re-install or replace the blade, be sure
to replace the parts in the exact order in which
they were removed, especially ensuring that
the words "THIS SIDE FACING DECK" on upper
blade is facing the mower deck and "THIS SIDE
FACING GRASS" on lower blade is facing you.
1. Wearing protective gloves.
2. Insert the two saved "Blade Set" bolts that
removed during blade removing into the
sharpened or new upper blade from the side
that stating" THIS SIDE FACING DECK" and
then mount the upper blade onto the motor
shaft (Fig. 7).
NOTICE:
The diamond protrusion on the "Blade
Set" bolts should be aligned with the rhombic hole
in the upper blade (Fig. 8).
3. Mount the EGO High-Lift Bagging Lower
Blade chosen onto the motor shaft (Fig. 9).
4. Mount the washer and shaft bolt and finger
tighten the bolt (Fig. 10).
5. Mount the "Blade Set" nuts and finger
tighten them with the "Blade Set" bolts

6. Insert a manual screwdriver or metal rod
5/16" (8 mm) or less in the stabilizer hole.
This is to stop the blade from rotating while
tightening the bolt/nuts (Fig. 12).
7. Use a torque wrench with 9/16"(14mm)
socket to tighten shaft bolt in CLOCKWISE
direction to 22 ft-lb (30 N.m.) and alternate
to 11/16" (17mm) socket to tighten "Blade Set" nuts in CLOCKWISE direction to 36-43 ft-lb
(50-60 N.m.)

RETRAIT DE LA LAME
AVERTISSEMENT : Protégez-vous toujours les mains en portant des gants épais ou en
enveloppant les bords coupants avec des chiffons ou d'autres matériaux lorsque vous effectuez des
opérations de maintenance sur la lame de la tondeuse à gazon. Retirez toujours le bloc-piles lorsque vous
effectuez une opération d'entretien ou lorsque vous déplacez la tondeuse à gazon.
AVIS :
Les outils suivants (non inclus) sont nécessaires pour remplacer la lame :
◾
Clé de 14 mm / 9/16 po ;
◾
Clé de 17 mm / 11/16 po ;
◾
Clé dynamométrique avec douilles de 14 mm / 9/16 po et de 17 mm / 11/16 po ;
◾
Tournevis manuel ou tige en métal de 8 mm / 5/16 po ou moins ;
◾
Tournevis manuel ou tige en métal de 6,35

mm / 1/4 po ou moins.
Outils qui vous faciliteront la vie : Une clé à chocs
avec des douilles de 14 mm / 9/16 po et de 17 mm
/ 11/16 po facilitera considérablement le retrait des
boulons et des écrous.
1. Arrêtez le moteur ; retirez le bloc-piles de la
tondeuse à gazon.
2. Mettez la tondeuse sur son côté.
3. Portez des gants de protection. Insérez un
tournevis manuel ou une tige en métal de

8 mm / 5/16 po ou moins dans le trou du
stabilisateur. Cela sert à empêcher la lame
de tourner pendant que vous desserrez les
boulons/écrous (Fig. 1).
4. Utilisez une clé de 17 mm / 11/16 po
pour desserrer et retirer les deux écrous
de fixation de la lame de 17 mm / 11/16
po. CONSERVEZ LES DEUX ÉCROUS EN
VUE DU RÉASSEMBLAGE DE LA LAME
ULTÉRIEUREMENT (Fig.2).
5. Utilisez une clé de 14 mm / 9/16 po pour

desserrer et retirer le boulon et la rondelle de
l'arbre de 14 mm / 9/16 po (Fig. 3).
AVIS : Si le boulon de l'arbre tourne avec l'arbre
du moteur pendant que vous êtes en train de le
desserrer, placez une autre tige en métal (p. ex.,
un embout de vissage de 9 cm / 3,5 po de long) de
diamètre inférieur à 6,35 mm / 1/4 po à l'intérieur
du petit trou dans le ventilateur pour servir de
stabilisateur supplémentaire (Fig. 4).
