Before using your new Steren´s product, please read this instruction
manual to prevent any damage.
The instructions of this manual are for reference about the product.
There may be differences due to updates.
Please check our web site (www.steren.com) to obtain the latest
version of the instruction manual.
Manufactured in white color plastic, it features six pre-established programs from 1 to
60 minutes for an easy use.
What is more, includes a button for manual mode or quick selection of the last selected
time lapse.

• Timer: 1, 5, 10, 20, 30 and 60 minutes.

• Manual ON
Turn ON the connected light or fan by pressing the
desired time button, or the ON/OFF button. If you press
the ON/OFF button, it activates the timer that was last
used.
• Manual OFF
While a timer is active, you can press the ON/OFF button to
turn OFF the connected light or fan without delay.
• Changing the selected time
If you decide that you need more or less time than you
originally selected, restart the time switch by pressing the
button that matches the amount of time you think you will
need.
• Hold Mode (Continuous Operation)
To turn timer On for extended periods of time, press and
hold the push button for more than 3 seconds. Timer
enters HOLD mode, all 7 LED'S go off and the connected
load is turned ON.
To exit HOLD mode press and release the push button.
2 LED'S go on and the connected load turns OFF.
For your safety: Connecting a proper ground to the time switch provides protection against electrical
shock in the event of certain fault conditions.
If a proper ground is not available, consult with a qualified electrician before continuing installation.
Only connect the SWI-630 to a Single Pole Circuit. The SWI-630 is not suitable for 3-way switching.
If the existing Wiring does not match the description for a Single Pole Circuit, you should consult with
a qualified electrician.
Twist the existing wires together with the wire leads on the
time switch as indicated in the drawing. Cap them securely
using the provided wire nuts.
Connect the green or non-insulated(copper) GROUND wire
from the circuit to the GROUND wire on the SWI-630.
Connect the power wire from the circuit (HOT) to the black
wire on the SWI-630.
Connect the power wire to the lamp or fan (LOAD) to the red
wire on the SWI-630.
Connect the NEUTRAL wires from the circuit (neutral) to the
white wire on the SWI-630.
This product is compatible with 60 x 102 x 60 mm boxes
To test the time switch:
•
The light under the ON/OFF button should be ON when the switch is OFF: The
indicator light beside one of the time selection buttons is ON. Press the ON/OFF
button. The connected light or fan comes ON. The connected light or fan should turn
OFF in the number of the minutes indicated by the time selection indicator light. You
can turn it OFF sooner by pressing the ON/OFF button again.
Light or fan will not turn ON (the indicator under the ON/ OFF button is on):
•
Check the light bulb and/ or motor switch on the fan mechanism.
•
Turn OFF power to the circuit then check wire connections.
•
Light or fan will not turn ON (the indicator under the ON/OFF button is OFF)
•
Turn OFF power to the circuit then check wire connections.
•
Make certain that the circuit breaker is ON and functioning.
•
Check the light bulb and/ or motor switch on the fan mechanism.
Light or fan will not turn OFF:
•
Press the ON/OFF button. If connected light or fan does not turn OFF, turn OFF
power to the circuit then check wire connections.

This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from
the date of purchase.
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket, product box or package, and product, must be presented when
warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accessories to customer, as well as warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky batteries, failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by
unauthorized personnel, improper safe keeping, among others.
a) The consumer can also claim the warranty service in the purchase establishment.
b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice or purchase ticket.
