The countdown timer is displayed on the screen. When the waffles are ready, the

Open the lid and remove the waffles with a wooden or heat-resistant plastic utensil.

Note: if you don't remove the waffles immediately, they will continue to cook.
Note: do not cut the waffles when they are still on the cooking plates.
