REMOTE CONTROL
Congratulations on your purchase of this high-quality ESYLUX product.
To ensure correct device operation, please read these installation/operating
instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place for future reference.
1 • SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Use this product only as intended (as described in the user
instructions). Do not make any changes or alterations as this will
render any warrantees null and void.
NOTE: this device must not be disposed of as unsorted household
waste. Used devices must be disposed of correctly. Contact your local
town council for more information.
2 • DESCRIPTION
The ESYLUX Mobil-PDi/MDi-Universal infrared remote control is
designed for convenient setting of various parameters and special
functions. Its range of approx. 5 - 8 m enables fast and precise
programming.
To ensure optimum operation of the Mobil-PDi/MDi-Universal and
avoid switching errors, please point the remote control directly at the
appropriate detector.
3 • START-UP
The remote control is supplied with batteries. Before use, please
insert two batteries into the battery compartment, paying attention
to the correct polarity. For further information on programming,
please refer to the operating instructions for the remote control.
4 • SOFTWARE UPDATES
The Mobil-PDi/MDi-Universal software is updated via SD card.
SD card format: FAT32 file system, allocation unit size: 512 bytes.
Current or older software versions can be loaded. All versions are
available on the ESYLUX website: www.esylux.com.
To update the software, proceed as follows:
• Download the files from the ESYLUX website and copy them
onto an SD card.
• Switch off the remote control and remove the batteries.
• Insert the SD card containing the latest files from the ESYLUX
website into the card slot (fig. 1).
• Reinsert the batteries.
48 files max. on SD card
• The updated files and versions can be selected and installed
in the remote control menu.
WARNING: Do not remove the batteries during the update.
