33. Do not install the compressor in an area exposed to rain or to water splashes, in areas with
increased humidity or high temperatures.
If it is used in a humid atmosphere, it could cause electric shock or a short circuit, which may result in
a fire. Use the compressor in a suitable environment that corresponds to its specifications.
34. Ensure the compressor is earthed.
Earth the compressor in order to prevent the risk of electric shocks to the operators. It is supplied with
a 3-pin cable and a 3-pin earthing plug so that it can be connected to a suitable earthing plug adaptor.
A yellow and green striped wire is the earthing conductor. Never connect it to other terminals when
pressurised.
For correct operation of the compressor
- Never use a generator that is less than 4 times the nominal power of the com-
pressor's engine
- Never use an electric coiling unit longer than 15 m with a cable below
3 x 2.5 mm
- Never use an uncoiled coiling unit.
- Never use an extension lead that is longer than 50 m, even if it is 3 x 2.5 mm.
- Never use the compressor with a power socket below 25 A
