OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
Read the section entitled "SAFETY PRECAUTIONS".
Wear safety goggles or protective goggles.
There is always the danger to eyes due to the possibility of dust being blown out by the exhaust air or
a fastening coming loose due to incorrect use of the tool. For these reasons, safety goggles or protec-
tive goggles must always be worn when operating the tool.
The user or operator must ensure that the correct eye protection is worn at all times. The protective eye
wear must meet the American National Standards Institute, Standard ANSI Z87.1 (Order of Council
89/686/EEC dated 21 Dec. 1989) and must ensure that front and side protection is in place.
Please note: Goggles without side protection and facial protection measures alone shall not ensure
adequate protection.
Please note: The information included in these Operating Instructions are intended to help you oper-
ate and maintain the compressor safely.
1) INSTALLATION
WARNING
1. Never use the machine in an area where volatile flammable liquids are stored.
Never use the compressor close to petrol, thinners, gas, paint or adhesive, since these could cause a
fire or an explosion.

2. Never use the machine close to a flame or any flammable substance.
WARNING
3. Never use the machine in an unstable area.
Never use the machine in an area where it could shift position or fall.
WARNING
4. Avoid areas exposed to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Use the machine in well venti-
lated areas.
Use of the machine in high temperatures or in direct sunlight shall not only reduce its service life but
will also increase the temperature of the main body, which puts your safety at risk. Always use the
machine in well ventilated areas.

5. Do not install the machine in a dusty environment (where there are wood chippings etc.).

6. Install the machine in the correct direction.
Install the machine correctly, by referring to the safety precautions.
WARNING
7. Never install the machine in rain, in a place where it could be splashed with water or where it
will be exposed to high temperatures.
Using the machine in a humid environment could lead to electric shocks or a short-circuit, resulting in
a fire caused by burning or ignition.
