3 Setting up the speakers

To get the best possible sound out of your
Sandberg Sound Boost 5.1, we recommend that
you position the speakers so that you are in the
centre and the speakers point towards you. In
this way you will get the full benefit from your
sound card.
If you have a subwoofer, you could put it in on
the floor in the middle of the room. This will
produce the best effect.
If you have a centre speaker, put it halfway
between the two front speakers.Then you must
adjust the speakers so they meet your
requirements and your taste.
Ensure that you only use active speakers, i.e.
speakers that have their own power supply.
3.1 Setup with 2 speakers:
• The two speakers must be connected to the
'Front speakers' socket (green).
3.2 Setup with 4/5 speakers:
• The two front speakers and any subwoofer
must be connected to the 'Front speakers'
socket (green).
• The two rear speakers must be connected to
the 'Rear speakers' socket (black/metal).
• The separate centre speaker or subwoofer
should be connected to the 'Centre speaker'
socket (yellow) and placed halfway between
the two front speakers.
NB: If you have a subwoofer system comprising
two front speakers and one subwoofer which
are all connected with a single jack, you must
connect this jack to the 'Front speakers' socket
(green).
