Menu 8, Short Supervision Time
Short supervision is used to disable arming if the DGP does
not receive a supervision message from a sensor within the
short supervision time (20 minutes by default).
Menu 9, Long Supervision Time
Long supervision will set a fault condition in the panel for
a sensor/zone which supervision timer expired (2 hours by
default).
Program the supervision time to control how often the wireless
DGP checks the sensor is communicating and in range of the
wireless DGP.
Menu 10, Smoke Supervision Time
Menu 10 sets the supervision time for smoke sensors.
A smoke detector sends a supervisory signal every
63 minutes.
A Smoke supervision sets a fault condition in the panel when
a detector supervision timer expired (4 hours by default).
Program the supervision time to control how often the wireless
DGP checks that the sensor is communicating and in range of
the wireless DGP.
Menu 11, Supervision Options
The supervision function monitors sensors at the interval set
up in the previous procedure.
Long supervision and smoke supervision can be switched on
or off, or disabled by the first relay of the wireless DGP (relay
17 for DGP 1) to stop unwanted supervision failure messages.
The factory default for supervision is On.
Four-button fobs do not transmit a supervision signal; when
fobs are programmed, they automatically set supervision
to Off.
Menu 12, Receiver Sensitivity
Menu 12 is used to select the receiver sensitivity .
The sensitivity is normal by default. With this menu the
sensitivity can be reduced (−6 dB) in programming mode.
After exit from the programming mode the sensitivity returns to
normal.
Menu 13, DGP Settings
The DGP can be configured for one of the following modes:
Extended 16 zones
Standard 13 + 3 zones
Extended 32 zones
Standard 29 + 3 zones
In the extended modes the DGP reports low battery, long or
smoke supervision, and smoke detector dirty state for each
sensor to the panel separately. This enables the panel to
handle this status information for each zone.
In the standard modes the first three zones of a DGP are
reserved to report supervision, low battery, and smoke detector
dirty state.

For example, on a DGP with address 1 the first three zones
are reserved as follows:
Zone 17, smoke sensors dirty. If any of the learned smoke
sensors reports a dirty state, this zone is in an alarm state.
Zone 18, supervision. If any of the learned zones is in
short supervision state then this zone alarms. If any of the
learned sensors is in long supervision or smoke
supervision state this zone is in tamper alarm state.
Zone 19, low battery. If any zone reports a low battery
fault, this zone is in an alarm state.
Menu 14, Factory Defaults
Menu 14 allows you to reset the wireless DGP to its factory
default settings (extended mode, 16 zones).
Caution:
Resetting clears the entire wireless DGP database.
Menu 15, Sensor Inputs
Menu 15 allows you to change types of sensor inputs for
1 zone after learning DWS or shock sensors.
Note:
Sensor input option is not available for other sensor
types.
See details in "1 zone option" on page 5.
Menu 16, Jamming
Jamming is detected by the receiver.
A jamming condition occurs if the jamming is present within
any one minute for a longer time period than it is set in
Menu 16. The period can be configured from 10 to 50 seconds.
Default value is 30 seconds.
The jamming threshold can be also configured from 25 to 75%.
The default threshold value is 44.8%.
Jamming detection can be disabled or enable through
Menu 16. It is enabled by default.
A DGP tamper condition is generated if the system is blocked
due to jamming.
