SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING
Risk of injury due to fi re, explosion and burns! Deep
discharge, improper charging and mechanical damage can
cause the LI-ion batteries to heat up. Escaping liquids and
vapours can lead to injuries due to chemical burns.
• To avoid deep discharge, remove the battery from the device when not
in use for a longer period of time.
• Do not short-circuit the battery.
• Never expose the battery to temperatures above 45 °C.
• Charge the battery only with an approved charger.
• Never leave the battery unattended during charging.
• Check the battery for damage and tightness. Use and charge only intact
and undamaged batteries. Infl ated and damaged batteries must be
disposed of properly.
• Make sure that the damaged battery does not come into direct contact
with the skin. Dispose of it properly using suitable gloves. Do not inhale
the gases escaping from the battery.
• Do not open or damage the battery.
• Never throw the battery into fi re or water.
• Keep the battery away from moisture and heat.
• Do not place the battery in direct sunlight.
