General: When worm properly and give adequate care, it provides excellent protection of hearing
against high frequency noise caused by machinery, engines and equipment of different kinds.
Requirements: This protection conforms to the requirements of European Directive 89/686/EEC
Annex II to European standard EN352-1: Part 1 2002 Test methods.
Marking: The marking can be found on cups. The EU marking was issued by the official organ
INSPEC (0194).
EN352-1:2002
Use:
1. Extend headband to maximum „open" position and place the cups over the ears with the
headband passing over the head.
2. Position the hearing protection so that the ear cups completely cover the ears and the
headband on top of your head.
3. The padding on the ear cups should comfortably fit at the head.
4. The pressure can be reduced easily by bending the headband. Make sure then whether a
sufficient noise reduction is available.
5. Wear the ear protection before exposing yourself to noise. Wear hearing protection during the
entire time that you expose yourself in the noise.
Attention:
1. This protection applies in the sense of EN-352-1: 2002 for the "normal" size range and fits the
majority of carriers.
2. When the listed instructions in the manual are not followed, may not provide adequate
protection can be ensured.

Cleaning: Cleaning should be done only with soapy water. All parts that come into contact with the
carriers, such as ear pads and headband must be disinfected with alcohol.
Storage: It is recommended to keep the hearing protection when not in use in a clean and dry plastic
bags.
