Recommendations
The electrical connection and the installation of the extract fan should be made in accordance with the

laws enforced in each country.
For a correct electrical installation a single pole switch should be used with a gap of at least 3 mm.

between contacts.
In bathrooms, the unit must be installed in such a way that it is out of reach of a person in the shower or

bath. The switch must be installed outside the bathroom.
In case of high humidity, it is advisable to install the duct outlet horizontally with a slight downward

inclination to facilitate moisture run off.
Installation (Fig. 1)
1. The air discharge is provided either directly through a wall (a wall (a 106 mm. Ø hole should be
provided), or through a 100 mm. Ø duct. Also air discharge is possible through a common duct.
2. Remove the grille (1) by releasing the screw (2).
3. Place the gasket seal at the outlet of the unit (3).
4. Fix the unit (screws supplied in the packing) feeding the electrical cable from behind (4) or to the side
(7).
5. Check that the propeller turns freely.
6. Open the connection cover (8) and proceed to the appropriate electrical wiring depending on the HEF
model. Then close the connection cover.
7. Mount the grille (1) and screw (2) again.
Electrical connection (Fig. 2 to 8)
The HEF-100 units are class II (double insulation) and do not need an earth connection.

Connect according with the details provided for each type of fan.

In all cases, the fan can be connected by a separate switch or through the light switch.
