First use
Before the first use, we advise you to clean the baking plates with a soft damp cloth. Put some butter or olive oil
on the surfaces of the baking plates and to operate the appliance for 5 minutes without food.
During the first use, the non-stick coated baking plates could produce some smoke; this is NOT harmful, it is nor-
mal and will disappear after a short time. We suggest to open the window to let the smoke and smell go outside.
Place the appliance on a stable and hot resistant surface.
Pay attention that the power cable will not touch hot surfaces.
Use
Insert the plug in the power socket, the pilot light will switch on (green light).
The appliance starts to preheat; when the cooking temperature is reached, then the ready light (red light) will
come on and the appliance is ready for use.
Fully open the appliance. Place the mixture on the baking plate.
Close the appliance and check the food during the cooking process.
Your waffle will be ready in 2 to 3 min or longer to suit your taste. Open the appliance and remove the waffle using
a plastic or wooden spatula. Never use a metal knife as this may damage the non-stick coating.
When the cooking is finished unplug the appliance from the socket.
If necessary move the appliance while in use, use the handle, the parts of the appliance will be hot and can burn.
Never touch the surface of the appliance while in use, it is hot.
Attention: the temperature of the outer surface may be high when the appliance is operating.
Cleaning and maintenance
Attention: before cleaning the appliance, switch it off, remove the plug from the outlet and wait for it to cool.
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the body; do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive products.
Don't immerse the product into water.
Store the appliance only when completely dry and cool.
