Gauge:
Gauge is not adjustable, replace if necessary. Do not use Teflon tape for thread
sealant. Note: the maximum vacuum level you can expect with the tool is within the
8 to 12 inch Hg range.
Coolant leaking when component is removed:
Insure air supplied at the tool is at least 80 psi. Long or undersized hoses will
reduce performance.
If the radiator or coolant expansion tank is too full (see Illustration #1), coolant
will be drawn into the tool reducing its pumping speed. Lower the coolant level.
(See "Surging", #3, below)
Surging:
If the unit is surging (vacuum rising and falling), it indicates that coolant is being
drawn into the tool (see Illustration #1). This my cause coolant to leak out. Lower the
coolant level in the radiator or coolant tank.
Replacement of exhaust hose:
Use
