TUBE EXPANDER SET
01. Expander Kit can only be used on soft copper.
For hard tubes, first heat the tip of the tube to facilitate expansion.
02. Prepare the tube by deburring the inner and
outer rims.
04. Insert the expander head all the way into
the tube. Note: if the tube opening is
too tight, first expand the tip of the tube
using the smaller section at the end of the
expander head.
06. Repeat step 5 until the tube is fully expanded.
03. Apply a small amount of lubricant to the
expander cone and attach the expander head.
05. Bring the handles together to expand the
tube. For the best result, expand the tube
slightly, then rotate the tube and expand
again. Note: this ensures the tube is
expanded evenly in all directions.
