Important safety instructions

Read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance. It
contains important information for your safety as well as operating
and maintenance advice.
1. Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage. A
damaged power cord has to be replaced by the manufacturer, its
customer service department, or a similarly qualified person in order to
avoid danger of injury.
2. Warning! During cleaning or operation do not immerse the
electrical parts of the appliance in water or other liquids. Never
hold the appliance under running water.
3. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children without supervision.
4. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of
the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an
external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that
is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
5. Do not clean the appliance with a water jet.
6. Observe all safety instructions to avoid damage through improper use!
Follow all warning notices on the appliance.
7. Keep this instruction manual for future use. Should this appliance be
passed on to a third party, this instruction manual must be included.
8. Only use this device for its intended purpose. This device is only
suitable for commercial use. Do not use this device outdoors or in
bathrooms.
9. No responsibility is accepted for damage resulting from improper use or
non-compliance with these instructions.
10. Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the
power supply voltage and current rating corresponds with the power
supply details shown on the appliance rating label.
11. Never use a damaged appliance! Disconnect the appliance from the
wall outlet and contact your supplier if it is damaged.
12. Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair the
appliance yourself. In case of malfunction, repairs are to be
conducted by qualified personnel only.
13. Avoid damage to cords. Do not squeeze, bend, or scour on
sharp edges. Keep away from hot surfaces and open flames.
14. Securely route the cord, if necessary so that no unintentional pulling or
tripping over it is possible.
